Healthcare Workforce Recruitment Day Declaration by Governor Sununu

Announced at the Bi-State Recruitment & Retention Conference: Attracting, Onboarding & Engaging the Patient Care Team

Governor Sununu declared December 5, 2017 Healthcare Workforce Recruitment Day in a proclamation read by Marty Boldin, Governor’s Policy Advisor on Prevention, Treatment and Recovery, at the Bi-State Recruitment & Retention Conference held on Tuesday, December 5th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Concord. This educational conference attracted more than 100 key leaders and healthcare professionals directly involved in the recruitment and retention of physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and behavioral health and SUD treatment professionals.  The new proclamation will soon be posted on the Governor’s website page.  The link to the Governor’s Proclamation page for reference is:

The day’s agenda included a national keynote address on combating clinician burnout from Dr. Corey Martin, founder of the Bounce Back Project. His talk focused on the benefits of gratitude, and its association to resiliency and happiness. Other sessions included updates on employment law, retention and onboarding strategies, and job posting best practices. Attendees were provided time to network with fellow industry leaders throughout the day.

The NH VT Recruitment Center, a service of Bi-State Primary Care Association, has been in the recruitment and retention business for more than twenty years.
